Oh, I have no doubt a lady is going to clap back with something equally as catchy.
The gender war ain’t going anywhere just yet.
And you are absolutely right and I speak up for the ladies who get screwed over by a$$holes.
A few of us have already mentioned how Black culture across the board does not encourage marriage and is now harping on young women getting knocked up, but not harping on the young men who are overly represented in the nation’s negative stats.
THAT BEING SAID- there’s a difference between a women who is divorced, a woman who had one kid out of wedlock and learned the lesson, and the woman who has multiple kids out of wedlock.
We have a babymomma culture which is the issue. Terrible images of Black women in popular culture, strip club culture took over Hiphop which has influenced how young men and women conduct themselves and behave, etc.
At this point we need something powerful to go up against this shyt.
It’s bad enough young girls might not be in environments where they are taught about men’s games; they are also wrapped up in a music genre/culture that promotes all these stripper-rappers.
Like I said on here last year, it isn’t a problem for some of us because those wayward chicks make the classy Black women stand out. But the shyt has gotten out of hand and is affecting our collective image worse than ever before.
If a little song can make a few girls stop and say “hold up, he’s saying all this and that but when the topic of marriage comes up he starts acting funny— naw lemme be careful!” then so be it.
