the issue for me is that they wont book a black man as strong and intelligent but they're quick to toss him one of these gimmicks...whether its realistic or not. i get that its a tv show but it doesnt reflect anything that i see in my real life. CACtrick was gonna get heat regardless of his gimmick because he comes off as a pompous a$$hole....

big e is one of the best talents they have and he's off in a clown role. which is why I'm shocked that there as many new day supporters on here.

The way I see it this gimmick just doesnt make sense for an African American wrestler to use. It would make a lot of sense if the target audience for WWE was black or latino but it isnt so who exactly is he supposed to be making mad with this gimmick? People in the crowd probably be like "he must be one of the smarter thugs if he voting for trump". Thats why I personally think this gimmick is c00ning. Whether he came up with himself or someone else did, he is going out of his way to side with trump/his ideals in an effort to piss off minorities when minorites arent even the main ones watching the show to begin with. This literally isnt even a heel gimmick in certain states and will end up getting him cheered. Either way this shyt just isnt going to work

Yeah that's the thing. I could understand if it was some "pro black" gimmick meant to antagonize the majority white audience like the Beat Down Clan. But a black wrestler playing a character that supports Trump isn't going to piss off white people, because he isn't going to be shytting on them.

I don't know what his martial arts or otherwise background is but you can't put a gimmick like that on someone who doesn't know how to defend themselves. Not right now.

Because if you put that gimmick in front of the wrong audience he could have problems.

He's kinda small and looks like someone most folks would feel they can beat up so there's something to putting a controversial gimmick on him if you put him with legit travel partners but if you're thinking long term what's next after Trump disappears for the most part after losing later this year. The direct trump tie in is cheap and short term at best.
