a 25 year old in AA that strikes out alot is not impressive.
Outside of Harvey and Wheeler, most Mets fans completely overrate the guys in the minors. I don't think Den Dekker will be anything special but he has some pop and he plays a great CF from all scouting reports. I rather give him a chance than watch another inning of Bay and Torres.

And Bay still cant get a hit. This guy is the biggest bust in Mets history. And we have had some big busts.
That's saying alot but he really might be unless he can right the ship somehow

In all seriousness, I'm looking forward to him mainly for his defense. Hit decently against righthanded pitching and he'll be good with me.

Bay is reminding me of George Foster after we got him at the tail end of his career.
Gotta see more from Ike before I get excited but would be huge if he could get going.

I just watched the replay of Ike's HR a minute ago (just got in from FL a little while ago)... I saw that he hit the homer off a lefty and I was seriously like
