QUEENS NY
The only weakness in the backend is Schwinden... Gee battles up there and can give you a chance to win.

Schwinden needs more seasoning, send him back down and bring someone else up? Who's the most ready arm down there?

Where's Mejia? Has he recovered from TJ? Is he a reliever now?

SO MANY QUESTIONS! :noah:

There is no one ready yet. Mejia hasn't come back yet but they say it should be any time now. And they're going to keep him as a starter for now. Chris Young should start pitching in Minor League games soon and they say maybe he'll be back by the late May early June. And Matt Harvey isn't ready yet. They need to do something because Schwinden clearly isn't a Major League pitcher.

The period at the end of that sentence :dead:

Hopefully Mejia comes back around the same time Young does... I want Acosta out.

Lol @ Keith saying the bull pens problem has been the inability to get strikes like it's just some minor issue that the pitchers you're counting on to close the game can't throw the ball over the plate.

How empty was it? ESPN.com says 25k/65% full

When I went last year I was sitting in the 2nd deck and they asked us to move down to field level so it could look better on TV. Not only that, they were playing the Brewers and there were more Brewer fans than Met fans. :manny:

65% was a joke, i'd say no more than 40% if generous. some sections were decently filled but some like 90% empty

citi has truly killed any real fanbase still there. the ballpark is so cookie cutter, the little 'mets flourishes' here and there can be changed with any random team's s pictures and history and it'd still fit perfectly. advertising everywhere, so many empty seats people working for some photo company were coming up with cameras harassing people to take their picture so you can buy it off their website later.

nothing mets about it, nothing baseball about it, just an experience to squeeze every last buck out of every customer. i really did come into it with an open mind wanting to enjoy a nice baseball game but aside from that (well, they blew it) the 'experience' left a bad taste. my baseball fandom died in 08

Santana is probably thinking of going all 9 and getting his first W of the year today.
