Schwinden will never be a big league pitcher. Hopefully Chris Young will be ready soon. And a few weeks after he goes on the DL for the season, hopefully Matt Harvey will be ready.
Mets about to get swept by the fukking Astros giving up five runs in the first four innings in the last two games.
Bad series, but whatever. High-A team going berserk so far this season. Flores, Puello and Vaughn doing good.

My crazy prediction... if Duda doesn't improve in RF he is playing 1st base next year and Ike will be traded.
I think he'll just get shifted to LF instead. Ike is struggling and battling out of it, but as a defender at 1st, he shyts all over anybody who attempts to play there.
Yeah, Ike is definitely a plus defender at first base and has recently been taking better swings. He's still has a bit to go, but he'll snap out of it soon enough.
I think they'll keep Duda in RF, he's serviceable and can only get better.
Neither of these two are going anywhere within the next year or two, they are still VERY affordable and are prototypical
players.

The only weakness in the backend is Schwinden... Gee battles up there and can give you a chance to win.
Schwinden needs more seasoning, send him back down and bring someone else up? Who's the most ready arm down there?
