it was ok and 20 mins too long. 45 mins into the movie and the "training" begins....throwing knives, hand to hand combat, etc etc

i kept thinking this was a hunger games knockoff

I'd argue that from the book it's almost nothing like The Hunger Games.

this is a mirror image of the Hunger Games in terms of how i'd rank the books only. The second book is good. The third book is garbage.

Watched it last night and I thought it was pretty good

I enjoyed it more than both Hunger Game movies

I know they're doing a sequel but I wish they would've explained more stuff in this movie like why are the smart people(forgot what they're called) trying to take over the government and what makes someone a divergent and why are people so scared of them

I don't want to call this movie garbage but they didn't really do a good job explaining the importance of anything in this movie. Nothing seem to have a real purpose to me. Also didn't leave us with anything to anticipate the sequels.
