Best radio freestyle in years, he'll never top it :damn:

Dude had the city buzzing off a freestyle all the young boys reciting his shyt, young nikkas even quoting the shyt in they yearbooks in the city :pachaha:

I don't fukk with Don's music at all but when I first saw this it solidified him as one of the best spitters out to me

I heard a couple tracks from David Bars dude is not nicer than Don Q lol, I guess you into the blipster appeal he has from being DITC. He'll never make it you have to have hood appeal to make it in NY, being lyrical ain't enough.

I don't think Don Q sounds like every other NY rapper you can't link me to 5 rappers that rap like or as nice as Don Q. Generic is always the generic cop out when an artist just ain't for you.

Nah, I love hood shyt. I just don't like hearing the same style from a million different rappers. You don't get anywhere in this business by speaking about the same shyt in the same way as every other rapper from your region. It's boring.

Everyone is talking about the same things. It's the bars that separates one rapper from another and that's why Don is buzzing. He's a traditional NY spitter with punchlines and there aren't many young guys doing that anymore.

And who the hell is David Bars?:what:
Dude is way more generic than Don. There's nothing stand out about him and the videos I checked didn't have more than a couple thousand views so no one is checking for him. Sounds like your trying to name drop your boy:patrice:

Post some rappers with the same style since you say there are millions

The only nikka doing the street/fly talk anywhere near Don's level is Dave East, which is why they get compared a lot here.

I think they get compared a lot because they're the most visible online.

And I'm not saying Q is wack at all, it's not that. I just grew up in NY during a time when the standard for our MC's was mad high. I don't wanna come off like I'm try'na be elitist or some shyt, but it definitely takes a lot to impress me when it comes to NY because I know where the bar used to be for us. And if we're being honest, it's been ages since we've had anyone from the city actually go on to have a successful career. It's been a minute since we've had someone who had "it" really go out there and push their music beyond just being on some local shyt. I really think it's because we haven't seen anything different in awhile.

They've both been mad successful. But I meant more along the lines of who we'd consider to be top MC's. I don't wanna offend anybody, maybe there are people who think that about them, lol. I don't know. But I was thinking more in a traditional Hip Hop sense.
