Meanwhile...
The idea that what he said behind closed doors in a deeply intimate setting is somehow not reflective of who he is has to be the most baffling angle in all this.

Some have noted that he had post nut clarity, which is true. But even getting away from the fact he just got finished smashing, we all tend to be at our most honest when alone around people we trust. Whether it's your parents, siblings, significant other, or close friends, we all let our guard down behind closed doors. We literally saw Hogan at his most honest on that video and people are still going, "But, uh, it may not be how he really feels. And why was he being recorded anyway, huh? Huh?"

It's baffling. I swear, you can't pin shyt on a white man in this country without the capes :cape: coming out.

Nobody in that company is in a comfortable position outside of Cena and Brock. New Day isn't as hot aa they were two years ago and after a burial and a non contract renewal, by next year new day could be a memory.

I'm OK with their statement. They need to get their money to secure their future and create new wealth.

actually new day is in a position to stand up if they really care like that, and I think they really don't. and that's cool. im not saying that they have to.
theyre just not saying anything in those tweets. the pressure is on, so they had to say something, and they went the safe route.

if new day stood up & got punished for it, the backlash towards the company would be thru the roof.
I can understand someone like titus o'neil not wanting that smoke, but the new day could actually take a good stance here, if they really wanted to.

and theyre also a group that could easily leave & make good money elsewhere.

I think what hes saying is how much can you really punish a guy for a private conversation.

if fans feel some type of way, then they should stage a boycott. other than that, its fake outrage.

everybody posing as activists on this board(not saying you are) but most of the threads are still WWE, most of the stickies are WWE, and outside of vintage topics and a lil bit of new japan, everything else is relegated to one clusterf*kk thread. dudes even turned down a slammiversary watch party to watch the same ole chit from WWE. summerslam '99 or whatever overhyped attitude era gateway pay-per view.

No Hogan would blur that line. The new nation and Hogan should be faces that have to hash out issues. Nation can do things like NFL kneeling maybe even take raw hostage as a protest...there may be boos there may be cheers but ultimately it will be similar to what is happening in the real world.

If they want an emmy...this is their shot

why would Hogan be a face? are you black?

He’s not a Hogan supporter. H and hbgay put those spots in the match to sandbag ricochet and dream. Afterwards Hogan reached out to him in an attempt to ride the wave and Dream basically said “fukk off, TERRY”

Then when he was reinstated he said you’re welcome terry condescendingly

oh aight, thought him rocking the Hogan-esque gear and him and Ricochet having the Hogan/Rock staredown was him being mark.

A nation of domination angle using Hogan...honestly that can work really well if WWE doesn't screw it up. The storyline would be reality based and it's not a clear good guy bad guy situation and be very much an edgy much needed modern story line.

There is gold there

ok I'll bite, I don't see why everyone's saying this is a dumb idea. Obviously WWE would never handle it properly, but it would be dope to see a militant faction that beats the breaks off Hoegan.

Unless you're suggesting that this faction and Hogan team up... :dwillhuh:

The black wrestlers on the roster that do right by their people and does things the right way on the roster is why I struggle with leaving WWE alone for good. They’re still worthy of support. Not every black person with $ is a c00n.

what i don't get is why so much focus on the recording...if it wasn't being recorded, he still would've said it.

like someone is going to warn a racist that there are cameras around so make sure you don't say something racist...

Get fired and go to Japan and ride that Elite wave on a feud already promoted by WWE? Risk having chief brand officer Stephanie McMahon having to answer racial questions? No
