Rap is crap was what? 98? White boys were very jealous of black culture yet again..especially in the era where white girls saw Black dudes as rebels, rock stars, etc. These days you got the whores on Instagram loving that but every day white girls pretend to be civilized in the public even though they are whoring out via apps, DMs, rich neighborhoods, etc. So I wasnt surprised blacks got booed in wcw in the 98 era..

Wow that crowd was dead for Master P...I also remember an interview with Henning where he said the rap is Crap was super over and didn't know why it was scrapped all of a sudde

I still think it would be interesting to new day display their dissatisfaction in promos while Hogan tries to redeem himself ...both should be faces....But this is under the assumption that Hogan actually starts to do more behind the scenes to get the approval of new day and Titus to the point where they work together and all band torether for real causes

The same crowd cheering Dolph Ziggler for beating down Apollo Crews also cheered for Naomi winning the Women's Title so I don't believe for a fact that the crowd was racist. They probably were not feeling Apollo Crews because like now, Apollo Crews wrestling persona is boring, there is nothing about the guy that stands out. The problem with Apollo Crews is like other black wrestlers, WWE doesn't know how to write for them, the WWE writers think that every black wrestler has to Dance, be Militant, a thug a rapper, or some other stereotypical caricature and if not, that wrestler has absolutely no persona.

What's interesting about it though? ANY realistic outcome that would occur is Hogan's "forgiveness" and "redemption" from something that "shouldn't have happened". There's absolutely nothing of worth that can be gained from that bullshyt on any level. Especially through the lens of an entertainment show from a company that has a history of poor taste.

this would've been GREAT if they just flipped the script and made no limit the heels.

I didn't notice back then, but looking at that clip, you can see that master p gets IT.
especially when he grabbed the mic the 2nd time.
he would've made for a great heel figurehead.

yup. and I looked up the back-story on that clip. the WWE basically threw crews & kalisto under the bus with that booking.
it was basically designed for ziggler to get heel pops, while making crews & kalisto look like a couple of weak ass suckaducks.
I think they were low-key making a statement with this tho. especially having ziggler in the American flag tights. why was this a handicap match anyway?

I saw this coming a mile away when he signed with the WWE.
and then when they said triple h was pissed that they called him up from NXT without having anything planned for him, I knew he was just gonna be curtain-jerker.

at this point tho, I don't feel sorry for these dudes that sign with the WWE and get wasted.​
