He's like Creed in the show The Office. Creed was funny cause he was barely around. It maximized his comedy. Once Kevin Hart is always around one would build up an immunity to his style humor because it's not a very clever brand of humor and it's repetitive.

You're right he needs to stay in an ensemble cast where others can do the heavy lifting and he can play off them. He's just not a leading man type. No hate to dude but most of Ride Along was brutal to watch. Ice Cube kinda fell back and let him take the reigns and it wasn't so great.

this is a total rip of Big Stan. look it up. it was a run of the mill crappy Rob Schnieder movie that came out years ago. same exact premise except he got a bullshyt artist kung-fu master in David Carradine to train him and not the most annoying man on the planet.
