The thing is you used to word RESPONSIBLE. Notive I never said you were completely wrong. I said you needed to REWORD it and be more specific.

1. If you own a dog you are responsible for its actions. If it breaks out of your house and bites me as im walking on the sidewalk I can sue you regardless if you were present or NOT.
2. In the meantime If someone takes my car without my permission and hits a pedestrian I may be contacted and questioned about it but I am NOT responsible for that other person's actions.
