what of my replies says i'm stressing over $20? I PAY FOR NETFLIX, but only because my family uses it. my parents aren't about to sign up for netflix when they can no longer access their profiles on my account and i'll have no reason to keep the sub

You of all people understand how capitalism works. They need to continue to grow but have reached subscriber saturation. Raise the price and find a way to more subs. Netflix has a massive amount of people watching their content who aren't paying.

If you leave because you were paying for someone unwilling to pay then you were just collateral damage in the quest to acquire more subs.

Ultimately they have to try and convert those into revenue. It's grow or die. If they accept stagnation the shareholders will abandon them.
