Netflix movie - His House - African Folklore Horror

I partly agree. I think they handled the horror perfectly early on but they pulled away the curtain a bit too early which leaves the midsection of the film lingering without any suspense or dread before it gets to its conclusion. Once it gets there it did pick up enough for me to end on an overall strong note.

I get what y’all are saying but I thought the dramatic backstory regarding what happened when they left was stronger than the supernatural stuff so it kept me engaged. Honestly even if they left out the supernatural elements this still would’ve been a compelling flick for me
