I really feel disney fumbled by a not having an adult mode/adult shows on the service

not having all the classics kids show on there

not having something special (beside mandalorian)

that would play off the nostalgia of those shows (by this I mean Day One)

but I guess netflix was never the competition, it was just to give their fans another platform to interact with disney content on.

I wonder if disney didn't go as hard as they could because if they had

they might actually gotten legit attention as monopoly if netflix or w/e streaming platform took a big hit

Netflix is definitely moving like a company that seems to think it will be on top forever no matter what they do.

They don't seem to understand that Hulu, Disney and Prime right around the corner lurking.

In fact, I been watching Hulu waaaay more lately than Netflix.
Believe it when I see it.

this whole thread itself has become a joke because everyone though Disney + Was gonna kill them and it ain’t happen.

Netflix got the belt for the foreseeable future.:yeshrug:

Disney really fell short by not releasing their MCU spin offs earlier and cancelling the Star Wars spin offs.

They just announced Muthafkn Jackson is getting his own Fury spin off though but it will be a while before that hits.
They also I agree should’ve had an adult section with all the miramax and touchstone backlog they now own and some of the R rated fox stuff too.

COVID stopped/postponed most of Disney’s shows that they were shooting. Probably won’t see any MCU content until mid 2021

But Netflix was so ahead that they have name brand value now.
It’s not Disney level but there’s a group of people that just call streaming “Netflix”. “Let’s watch Netflix”

Come to think of it, the last Spider-Man was last summer.
So this might the longest time in a decade where no new Marvel movies came out :ohhh:
