Did the acting not bother anyone else but me? At times it was solid and other times it was low budget theatre weak. Like there was no flow in the conversations.
I think it's 50/50 bad acting/bad dialogue.
It's hard to have conversation that flows when you're just going from stand-up premise to stand-up premise instead of real human interaction to real human interaction.
I think the main culprit of this is the black girl - she's the worst actor of all the friends, closely followed by the Asian dude.
I actually thought he was the co-writer/co-creator Alan Yang so was gonna give him a pass being a writer and all, but when I saw he was just a straight up actor I was like "Really? He was the
best actor they found?"
