Show is hilarious to me. The best thing I've seen from Aziz tbh IMO.

Is that guy, this guy?

Working my way through it at the moment. Largely cool, but there was one moment that struck me when his girl was complaining about the treatment she receives as a woman and Aziz is :yeshrug:"I wouldn't know how it feels to be treated a certain way because of who you are."

:dwillhuh::dahell: Dude. You're Indian. In America. Post 9/11.

Just kinda caught me off guard.

enjoyed the season, but his love interest is the most basic looking white girl I've ever seen

It would be weird as fukk if his girlfriend was some dime piece when Aziz is ugly as fukk.
That is one thing that is cool about the show though, all the people on the show look like regular people, not some hot cast. I also like how you can live in New York and have friends of all ethnicities, and just talking about regular stuff and having fun. On some sitcom, the black actor would be inserted into a scene to talk about black stuff and/or race.

If you don't look at it as if it was a comedy, I think you'll like it more. That's why I realized after finishing the season. There's no real LOL moments, it's more a chuckle here and there but the ideas in each episode make it work. That's why it's so highly praised because it's more than just a comedy.

But boy the acting at times is poor. I understand his parents but everyone else? :comeon: There's no fluidity in the conversations, it feels like a stand up bit at times.

I finished watching the show last night and overall really enjoyed it.

The direction of the show was really good and I liked the fact that like Louie, each episode could explore different topics. Also some of the food on display looked :whoo:.C/S with the cast looking like regular people, just the visual of him and his tall friend had me :skip:a lot of the times. When his buddy took the white seal thing home and started to really bond with it :deadrose:.

Aziz and his girl had chemistry together and he wasn't afraid to let other people shine in the episodes.

Yall gonna disagree.

I thought show was aigggghhhht.

He is an indian hipster. White friendly.

Show has way too many hipsters i see in bk, lic, Astoria and downtown.

Just couldnt get over how show portrays hipsters as some cool ass open minded people. These fukks are some of the most self absorbed fukks.

Ok bye
