I'd suspect that it is because Europe is not as religious as the US and a lot of those right wing protestants are very pro-Israel for very different reasons. I bet if you controlled for that the results would be the same. Like black and latino people are more religious than the average American but they're not about to be so cavalier in their support of Israel.
