Colin ain't just been in the backyard throwing footballs around. Go look up know your rights camp. He's been holding camps for young black kids around the country to understand the power they do have when police are pressing them. He's been on the ground in Oakland and New York and Baltimore and Miami. Just because he ain't on Twitter blasting his accomplishments doesnt mean he doesnt have a plan. This situation has an effect on Jay-Z as well. He might end up being a part owner or even an majority owner in the NFL but he won't be the unquestioned "leader" of the black community because of the backlash he's been getting. The NFL killed two birds with one stone in having blacks discrediting Jay-Z and Kaep. It helped that Jay'z bleeds green when it comes down to it.
Good post. Niccaz going against Kap and supporting this new NFL/Hov social injustice program deal but don’t even realize the only reason there doing this is because of Kap! He shed light and brought attention to this and now the NFL started feeling pressure to do something and repair their image with all this “new social justice bullshyt”. What did any of my post have to do with Jay's track record?
This was a snake move by Jay to co-op Colin's sacrifice for a bid for NFL ownership, but nowhere did I mention track record. All of a sudden a lot of y'all have a lot of license to question what Colin has done in the days since this partnership. As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't matter when Colin started as long as he got started. By himself he got one of the most powerful organizations and group of rich folks to lean back. They felt so much pressure just at the mention of him name and Jay gave them an out. That's a fact you can't ignore.
Also, just cause I'm bored, you do realize his "non black" girlfriend is Egyptian, right? As in Egypt on the continent of Africa?
