....again why is he suiting up for the Panthers?

He doesn’t need an NFL team to bring awareness to social justice. :troll:

He already has millions and support for a lot of people.

Kaep ain’t selling his jerseys from Nike for free though.

That's his job :what:

Wasn't he close to being black-balled too:what:

31 other teams passed up on the dude :what:

Jay-Z aint do anything to help champion this dude to get him a job and again, Colin is still without a job. :what:

I thought the whole point of his movement was to bring awareness to police brutality not taking a settlement?

How are you confusing such obvious things?:mjtf:

His protest was about police brutality. If the SFPD cut a check and he stopped kneeling you'd have a point.

His wasn't kneeling against the NFL. He did his job, played out the season, was released, and teams denied him employment based on his protest. He took legal action against a business because they denied him employment. That's the point. You sue your employer are you not looking for compensation? You think he was suing to end police brutality?:what:

The protest was about a social cause.

The legal suit was about business.

Isn’t Jay part owner of Roc Nation, a sports agency that has NFL players signed to it? What makes y’all think he can be anti-NFL then turn around and try to sign NFL players?

He was saying anti NFL statement less than a year ago.

I have no problem with Roc Nation doing business with the NFL which is a business. Be honest and say it's business and don't put on a masquerade about social injustice.

Agreed. Just call it doing business cause Ray Charles can see through the social injustice angle.

Right. I thought the whole point of this was to being people together and bring awareness to police brutality.

Instead people are making this about Jay taking money from the NFL as if Reid isn’t on a fukking NFL team and Kaep is trying to get signed.
Once again, look at it this way. If Rosa Parks started a boycott (which she did) and the public transit system of Montgomery paid her for doing her wrong but wouldn't let her back on any of their busses, would you feel black leaders was wrong if they did business with them under the guise of social equality without getting her blessing first?

Embarrassing info doesn't mean case winning info. Without knowing what that info is I'm going to chalk it up to his lawyers talking tough to front like their case is stronger than it is.

The league settling doesn't mean they thought they'd lose. Way easier to cut a small check and be done with it.

The point the article brings up is the league had a lot to gain by winning the case and by doing so they wouldn't have to go on this "apology" tour they're doing now. There's a convincing argument that they wouldn't settle if they thought they would win. They didn't settle during Deflategate and that was the league's poster boy.

Imagine Rosa Parks not getting out of her seat

... and then turning around asking the bus station for a job?

... after she just won a huge lawsuit and has a huge endorsement like Nike.

Oh wait you can’t compare the two cause Rosa is actually a pioneer for black people.

Kap wasn't/isn't protesting the league and still wants to play in the NFL though... Like if he got signed tomorrow would that really change how people feel about this Jay-Z deal?

If he checked in with Colin it would've. The NFL can't say shyt about social justice while they blackball Kap for doing the right thing!!! It's not that hard to figure out.

This

Lol people don’t know kap never had issue with the nfl. I don’t think I ever heard him say anything bad about the nfl. TO, Ray Rice, Tebow etc... can all make a case for being blackballed too. To me it worked out well for Colin. He got a bag and didn’t have to continue to mash his brain over and over. Even tho he want to til this day.

What I don’t get about Kap if he want to play football just go to the CFL or Arena. His days in the nfl are slim to none

I'm guessing she wouldn't have gotten back on if she still had to ride in the back. That was the point of the protest. Colin wasn't protesting for NFL player's right to protest and even if he was Eric Reid is still kneeling right? The weirdest part about this whole ordeal is you'd think by now the NFL would just lean on some team to sign him so this would go away, but they're utterly incompetent.:yeshrug:

Receipts? Cuz that would be illegal right?

Go follow the timeline breh. If you’re asking if Hov is literally using the non profit entity itself to enrich himself that’s incredibly naive.

Personally I could give a sh*t what the NFL has to say about social justice. They're a self-serving corporation just like every other one. That's never going to change.
