Far as what Nelly said, there was definitely a lot of competition at the top of the charts…but it was also the commercial peak of hip hop…it’s like winning the scoring title when total scoring was at it’s highest…it was “easier” to put up huge numbers in nellys era IMO

they match up way better than Joe with Ja and Luda with Nelly....radio hits, sing song flow, dominate in the same era...Ja had harder bsides but it wouldve made for a better show overall

I disagree. Nellys run ended around 20 years ago n he eating still. Fetty was selling crills after his run. They bled him out had him drop all his hot shyt in rapid succession with no plan. Could barely do shows once it ended. Nelly has a diamond album, big singles, was able to put his group out, did movies had clothing lines and still up.
