I know it sounds appealing but the slave cult started in like 2015, which was like years after she left the program.

Na, the first 2 seasons of Arrow introduced great fighting sequences to television while Flash introduced great CGI. Both equally story driven with great action. Smallville didn't age too well and the idea of a story driven non flying superman didn't interest me because outside of his powers, he's bland. I wish DC would've worked with real earth based issues like the Robin's growing up under Wayne or something ya know.

that was probably the weaker parts of Smallville but to be fair I think that’s on the writers and the type of show Some got lucky with characters closer to their canon counterparts some got teen angst stuff
I think they struggled with having a plan for the show knowing it obviously had a destination but had to prolong it
Flash and Arrow are kinda established heroes so they could do a bit more closer to the comics and have the luxury of less restrictions
