As someone who grew up on Smallville (I love that show), it has NOT aged well when you re-watch it

Even back then people were calling it "Dawson's Creek with superpowers"

if anything ill give it up to smallville for Michael Rosenbalm, other than that, smallville didnt really age too well.

I watched almost every episode of smallville and had all the dvds and can say without a doubt that none of it was even close to as good as arrow season 2

the first few years of smallville were terrible freak of the week stories with high school drama nonsense thrown in and clark generally acting like the biggest p*ssy on earth. Got better when the finally started embracing the superhero elements more but the budget was just not good enough to make it work, their version of doomsday

we give rosenbaum his props but that's where it stops

I grew up with Smallville, it was also a time when I was a Supes stan and I strongly disagree. Show also aged like shyt.

Now it's not DC but Arrow, The Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow all get bodied by pre-CW show Angel. None of their crews has reached the charisma, story arcs, and teamwork of Angel Investigations.
