I was watching some clips on YouTube from the show Through the Wormhole and caught a story from the episode about Afterlife



Dr Eben Alexander is a neurosurgeon. He contracted a form of meningitis that left him physiologically impaired in a coma for a week. During this ordeal he experienced a heightened state of consciousness. Alot of inquiries into the nature of NDE's emerged from his experience, I suggest all skeptics watch. And for those of you who want to see the entire episode

no such thing, I don't respect anyone who claims they've had a near death experience unless the cells in their brain died and they were declared braindead, then miraculous came back to life.

This was not the scenario in the above video. For 7 days he was virtually brain dead and that the infection began to cause actual cell death.
