UCLA going to learn how difficult it is to make a team out of freshman stars. First round exit is likely. Dudes went into overtime against UC Irvine :russ:

Well you elaborate and tell me how they should pay these players. And i don't wanna hear they should just play for the love of the game. Hell the AD should just be an AD for the love of the game if thats the point.

Did you even know the NCAA passed legislation to give student-athletes a stipend, but it was overriden and now under further consideration? Probably not. Do me a favor and research "miscellaneous expense allowance" and get back to me.

As far as a plan, i don't have one because i'm on the side of they are getting a free education and it's their choice to take advantage of it or not. They are student-athletes in an amateur association. Most student-athletes have their room/board, books and tuition paid for...what else do they need? A basic stipend can fill their other needs, but that's it. Did you know that they can also get Pell Grants and utilize the Student-Athlete Opportunity fund for additional needs? No you didn't. Did you also know that most football and basketball student-athletes who do get Pell Grants and otherdress financial help for necessities spend the money frivolously (tats, $200 jeans, shoes, rims, stereos, etc.)? No you didn't. And what about that golf, track or baseball student-athlete that only has a 25-30% equivalent to a full scholarship to an institution that has a $40,000 tuition? They deserve to be paid too in that case right? How will an institution pay ALL of it's student-athletes equally? You a silly muthafukka if you think a swimmer, golfer, tennis player or baseball player going to sit back and keep quiet when football and basketball are the only ones getting money like that.

Again, i don't have a plan, but i know what's really going off the court and you silly knee grows only know what you're told. Do your research.

Yeah they may get a few thousand but the university makes millions off these players. And how many players u know who get a scholarship to play ball usually finish school. Im sure the percentage is not that high. And if football and basketball brings in more revenue then yes they should be paid more then the ones who don't.

71% of football and men's basketball student-athletes got their degree last year.

Again, do your research and come to me with your own thoughts and solutions.
