It's called damage control.
Funny you should say that

Marvel Comics 'Damage Control' Adapted As Comedy TV Series By ABC

Developed for TV by former Daily Show and Colbert Report executive producer Ben Karlin, Damage Control follows the overworked, underpaid, clean up crew of the Marvel Universe. Specializing in dealing with the aftermath of the unique fallout from superhero conflicts, they’re the ones who are in charge of returning lost ray guns to their rightful owners, help to reschedule a wedding venue after it has been vaporized in a superhero battle, or even track down a missing prize African parrot that’s been turned to stone or goo.

Introduced in 1988 and getting their first storyline the next year in Marvel Comics Presents, Damage Control has a recurring presence on the pages of Marvel Comics, and has been the subject of four limited series to date. Dwayne McDuffie and Ernie Colón created the concept. Notably, the outfit played a key role in the events of the 2006-2007 “Civil War” crossover, though they’re not featured in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War, loosely based on that arc.

Karlin will write the script for the project, which he executive produces alongside 3 Arts’ David Miner and Marvel’s head of television Jeph Loeb. Marvel Television is producing with ABC Studios where the company is based. Karlin’s involvement in Damage Control stems from his overall deal with ABC Studios. Many writers on the studio roster are interested in developing Marvel properties, and the comic book-based company has been very selective in the concepts that proceed to development.

Fresh off her acclaimed turn in Fox’s Grease: Live, Vanessa Hudgens has signed on to headline NBC’s DC Comics-infused workplace sitcom Powerless, TVLine has learned.

Written by A to Z‘s Ben Queen, the single-camera comedy centers on the exceedingly average employees at one of the worst insurance companies in America — with the twist being that it also takes place in the universe of DC Comics.

Hudgens will play Emily Locke, a claims adjuster who loves her job because she gets to help people, but who is increasingly exasperated by the disruptive antics of the various Super Heroes that proliferate in her city.

Should it snag a series order in May, Powerless would mark the High School Musicalgrad’s first full-time TV gig.

Hudgens earned near universal praise last month for her work in Fox’s Grease: Live.It was a particularly impressive performance considering it came just hours after her father Greg’s death from cancer. “Thank you to everyone who watched and supported me,”Hudgens wrote on Instagram the morning after the telecast, calling Grease: Live “one of the most incredible experiences.”

:banderas: I know nikkas from the JBO Disney thread gonna love this.

NBC’s Powerless is adding more characters from DC Comics. While the show won’t be embracing major names like Batman or Superman, a new report on the pilot script showcases that some familiar characters will be appearing within the first episode.

While pilot scripts can change often, it seems that the pilot will feature a train battle between the Crimson Fox and Jack O’Lantern.

Powerless will focus on the exceedingly average employees at an insurance company that is considered to be one of the worst in America, this company also happens to be within the DC Comics universe. The show takes place in “Charm City” and is focused mostly within an office building setting. The office is located nearby a Big Belly Burger, which Flash and Arrow fans might recognize as a popular franchise that is often mentioned by both shows.

The Powerless cast has been expanding, recently adding Danny Pudi (Community), Christina Kirk (A to Z) and Alan Tudyk (Firefly). All three will be series regulars along side Vanessa Hudgens.

Powerless only has a pilot order, if the series is picked up, that would be announced around May or a little earlier.

It's official:

NBC is officially back in the DC Comics business, having given a green light to the workplace comedy Powerless. Also on tap for the Peacock’s 2016-17 TV season is the fish-out-of-water comedy Trial & Error.

The first comedy series set in the universe of DC Comics, Powerless stars Vanessa Hudgens (Grease Live) as Emily, a spunky young insurance adjuster specializing in regular-people coverage against damage caused by the crime-fighting superheroes. When Emily she stands up to one of these larger-than-life figures (after an epic battle messes with her commute), she accidentally becomes a cult “hero” in her own right … even if it’s just to her group of lovably quirky co-workers.

The cast also includes Alan Tudyk (Firefly), Danny Pudi (Community) and Christina Kirk (A to Z).
