Welllllllll

KD became a better facilitator
KD became a better defender
KD tightened up his shot selection

KD became a better player...imagine that!

Klay & Steph shyt the bed two years in a row IN Cleveland

KD was the guy to stop
Bron could not do that

KD shot him in the eye the first time
Bron didn’t even bother fighting over the screen the 2nd time

I’m sayin
Better facilitator? NO. Hell no.

Better defender? Eh. Okaaaay.

Tighten up shot selection? Nah, he got way better shots because of Curry and Klay. Stop it.

None of that makes him surpass Lebron. Eked our Bron on defense, that’s it.

KD was the go to guy, with a GOAT PG and a GOAT shooter, whooopty damn doo. He never faced the same pressure to produce and win as Lebron. And when he came close to it, he blew a 3-1 lead and joined the team that he choked against. So, go to guy? Nah, he shyt the bed in OKC as the go to guy and showed that he isn’t on the same level as Lebron when it comes to winning. Bron leading his team past the 72 win GS team, down 3-1 in the finals will forever trump anything KD achieved. Oh, he shot Bron’s eyes out? Twice. That doesn’t make him better at all.

Plea denied! Next!

This post is all types of wrong.

No one can stop KD, just like no one can stop LeBron. Those two literally went tit-for-tat, with both of them beating each other, with the main difference being that The Cavs let KD get his by allowing him to be covered by a single defender.

KD literally said that he couldn't stop him, and yet, you're arguing that he's better.

Past his prime LeBron=Prime KD.
Nah. This whole double-team narrative is bs anyway. Double-teaming durant was only a feasible strategy when he was young and weak. Even then it wasnt a proper strategy given his height. His best season (mvp season) was one in which Westbrook missed half the season and he had zero shooting on the perimeter. Teams doubled him every game and it simply did not work. You use durant not being doubled to prop up bron as if bron is regularly getting doubled team. In fact, the strategy to stop bron has always been to sag off, the opposite of a double team. Let's end this double-team narrative

Healthy KD is the best of the group. fukk all the “his team” narratives, go back and watch those last two finals that boy is filthy. I’d give Kawhi the nod for second.
:camby:Easy to play well when your opponents won't dare to come off of either Steph or Klay from the perimeter no matter what. You can't just dismiss the fact that he played with them lol. Before that move he was routinely underperforming against top teams in the Playoffs. Even against teams like Memphis.

You just gonna gloss over the fact that his numbers and efficiency massively dropped off against the Spurs in the WCF? And he lost the series?

We'll see what he does when he doesn't have the two best shooters in NBA history on the floor with him. I expect him to be a lot closer to his OKC days, where he was great but his numbers dropped off in the Playoffs against top teams. That's if he comes back close to 100%
