Even with that specific criteria Rose makes it into the hall of fame. He wont be first ballot but he'd eventually make it in.

If Rose retired tomorrow there is NO WAY he makes the HOF. Stop it. That sound ridiculous. 1 MVP doesn't make you a Hall of Famer. The fact every other MVP is in the Hall of Fame doesn't matter. They all had long productive careers (except for Bill Walton...but you know).

You young cats might not realize this but after 6 years in the league most considered Grant Hill a HOF lock. Injuries got him and now he's viewed as a good player who has played for a long time. Before he got hurt Grant Hill was a no doubt HOF. He had 29 triple doubles his first 5 years, Lebron has 32 for his career. Think about that.

I think for players with less than 10 years only Lebron and Dwight would be sure fire HOF'ers AS OF today, maybe Wade too.

I have no problem with Bosh goin in. He got the creditials and a ring

yea I agree and he was a great player with the Raptors too. He is dope and with a ring and his accomplishments and his credential, I wouldn't mind him going in.

Rose has 4 1/2 years TOTAL of college and NBA basketball under his belt... despite the MVP, there's no fukkin way he would get in, stop it

in terms of locks, I'd say Wade, Lebron, Dwight, and Melo (a lot of having to do with him leading Cuse to the National Championship)

Yeah, I forgot about Melos Championship with Syracuse. Taking that into account he'd probably get into the Hall of Fame if he retired today, not first Ballot though. Either way, 2 more years of high level production from Melo and Dwight and they're locks to get in, you could say the same of CP3 and Bosh too. dunno about Deron Williams though, even though he's been on the same level as these other guys he doesn't have the accolades to show for it, he'll have to put in a bit more work than the other guys to get in.

Somebody in another thread said CP3 was a hof:snoop:, and we know the NBA is the easiest to get into

are you saying cp3 aint?
if dude broke is leg and retired today. he would be a lock for the hall. the dude reminds me of I.thomas but with more rebounding. and thats not an exaggeration.

cp3, wade, lbj, durant, drose, dwill(i said it). dwight. oh yeah, melo

How does no one at least mention Dwight.

3 Time Defensive Player of Year
6 Time All NBA (5 1st team)
6 Time All Star
5 Time All Defensive Team (4 1st team)

Edit: Folks started naming Howard later in the thread.
