-Alonzo Mourning shoulda been MVP in the 1999 lockout season instead of the Mailman.
-Shaq shoulda won the 2001 and 2006 MVP award.
-Kenyon Martin shoulda won the 2001 Rookie Of the Year instead of Mike Miller.
-Hedo Turk shoulda made the 2008 All Star Game.
-Karl Malone should have won the 1998 MVP award instead of Jordan.
-Kobe Bryant shoulda been 6th Man Of the Year in 1998 instead of Danny Manning, but mostly so Bean could say he literally has done it all in the NBA.
-Scottie Pippen should have been DPOTY in 1995 instead of Mutombo.
-Ben Gordon should have won ROTY instead of Emeka Okafor, to go along with his 6th Man of the Year award in 2005.
-Michael Redd should have won 6th Man of the Year in 2003 instead of Bobby Jackson.
-Matt Harpring should have won Most Improved Player instead of Gilbert Arenas in 2003.

I still find it hard to understand that Mourning never got an MVP, how Shaq only got one, how Kobe only got one, and how Pippen was never DPOTY...Kidd should have an MVP too (undecided about Ewing)

Damn Mike Miller was ROTY :merchant:

McGee and DeRozan were robbed at last year's slam dunk contest

It also seems that these past years perimeter players are constantly getting robbed for DPOTY: Tony Allen, Sefalosha, Iggy...they don't seem to get serious consideration...defense shouldn't only be about blocks and boards imo

Isaiaih Thomas should've been on the Rookie First Team, not the second.
Kevin Martin Most Improved in '07
Gerald Wallace was robbed the worst in the dunk contest in '02 :damn:

Paul George won this year's dunk contest. Not that no-name from the Jazz.

Every cotdam inch of GA..except the racist parts
this nikka said melo should have won ROY over Bron?

:pacspit:

Melo was better than bron in EVERY statistical category except for assists/steals.....and then he took his team to the playoffs in a crowded/deep western conference....

honestly i think melo should of won it...but the lebron hype was too strong

Mavs should have been the '06 champs, no doubt in my mind.

CP3 was the MVP in '08.

And just generally.. I wish they would stop just focusing on stats for defensive accolades/awards... give some love to those perimeter players that do the best job just locking dudes up. People like Tony Allen, Deng, Thabo, Shump... etc.

And fukk Melo deserving that ROY. Bron's playmaking set him apart from Melo. They were close as scorers and rebounders, and Bron was better defensively. At best, they should have split it.

dude.. are u seriously saying Christian should have made it over Dr. Oneil?

In 1992 Christian Laettner was the golden boy of NCAA Basketball

average 21ppg and 9rpg

NCAA CHAMPS

AP Player of the year, John Wooden award winner and was Naismith College Player of the Year

I understand now when you look at it after there NBA careers wondering why the hell Shaq wasn't on the team.

Dont get me wrong shaq was a beast, but in 1991-92 Laettner was the man

Kobe should've won MVP in 2006 and '07. Yeah I know 50 wins, etc. but still.
Kobe probably should've won that 6thMOTY in '98 too.
If that had happened, CP3 would've won in 2008.
Shaq should've won in '05 and probably '01 as well as '00.
LeBron probably could've won 4 straight MVPs from '09-'12 had he not botched the move to Miami.

LO was an AS in '11 and Josh Smith in '12. Hating on those 6'10" left handers brehs.
