nerlens noel could come cheap

he's just fragile af

I like Noel but as a backup and if hes offered too much id rather just bring Birch back as a backup....From watching the Knicks this year hes a great defensive player but hes very very remedial offensively...

Darko over Wade, Melo, Bosh, ect. Stanley over Booker. Kennard over D Mitch.

Historically, they have been the worse drafting franchise in NBA history. We rarely draft players who we even want to keep after the rookie contract.

This squad has been a garbage franchise since Joe D fukked the future of the team up with the Darko pick. They didn't draft well in the 80's or 90's either.

fukk this team :yeshrug:

They actually drafted pretty well in the 1980's when the great Will Robinson was the top scout. Will Robinson coached at Detroit Pershing in the 1960's and he had a lot of great players at Pershing who went on to the NBA (Spencer Haywood...who was the first player to go hardship in the draft, Ralph Simpson who is the father of India Arie, and a few other guys). Robinson was also the first black division 1 head coach at Illinois State...he coached Doug Collins. The pistons drafted Isiah #2 and Tripucka #12 in 1981, I think Tripucka made a few all star teams before he was traded. Robinson found Dennis Rodman out of a small school in Oklahoma, he drafted Joe Dumars with the 18th pick in the 1985 draft. Joe Dumars drafted Tayshaun late in the first round, he also picked Mehmet Okur in the 2nd round. They have never recovered from the Darko debacle. What really makes me angry is that Chris Bosh wanted to come to Detroit because he has an aunt and many cousins who live in Detroit, Bosh told Joe Dumars that he still wanted to work out for the Pistons even though he knew they were going to draft Darko, Dumars said no thanks. I think Bosh was certain that he could've changed Dumars mind.

It’s gonna be HARD for Houston to get rid of those Wall and Gordon contracts, I don’t think it’s happening brehs.

Top 10 IMO is this:

1. DET - Cade
2. HOU - Mobley
3. OKC - Green (Trade up)
4. TOR - Suggs (doesn’t resign Lowry)
5. ORL - Kuminga
6. CLE - Barnes (Trade down)
7. GSW - Mitchell
8. ORL - K. Johnson (possible trade down)
9. SAC - J. Johnson
10. NO - Wagner or Moody

wouldn’t be surprised to see Orlando and golden state trading up, but I can’t see them beating the haul OKC can offer any team

Garland just had a 17.4ppg season shooting 45% fg and 39% from 3 and 85% FT in year 2

Sexton averaged 24ppg with similar splits as Garland

You have an established C, but lacking in the 3 and 4.

If you’re going to keep “Sexland”, then why would you stay at 3 to get a SF or PF that’ll be there at 6 or 7? Trade down and accumulate more picks or a decent player.

Yes you can get Green, but you’re still missing out on a starting caliber 3 and 4, because Green can’t play the 3 at 6’5, unless you’re having an undersized 3 guard lineup, which is BBQ chicken

If they draft Jalen Green, then Garland gotta accept a bench role, or be traded

I'm not even a Jalen Green believer, but man, even though the Pistons would be really talented, they'd also be slow as fukk. The good news is Detroit doesn't need Cade to run point. The bad news is that his floor is Kyle Anderson with a jumper.
Thats a really high floor. How is that bad news:dwillhuh:

Whose saying that we can’t go with whomever between cade/green/Mobley is left at 3? Okoro can also play the 3. We could use a 4 for sure or a larger scoring wing. We have options. Sexton could even possibly be moved as well.

this is all just talk right now a guy can leap into the top 3 also. Especially if they kill workouts and interviews or the rockets or pistons could go in a different direction. Either was I say go BPA as long as it isn’t a PG. I’m also not a fan of paying Allen or Sexton what they should get.

and yes I’d like to get Ben Simmons onto our roster if it was something involving Sexton but I doubt Philly would be interested.
