Who even said shyt about it a handshake and wink wink deal between teams and the league :mjlol:

Only a few selected media members are actually in the room when the league does the ping pong balls, so the teams don't have to know a damn thing until the order is actually listed :mjlol:

Making assumptions when you have no clue what you're even talking about :mjlol:

Ok smart guy :mjlol:

So if the Rockets don’t win the first pick, explain the conspiracy theory to me then. Does it involve the dinosaurs coming back to life and aliens shooting laser beams out the sky? :mjlol:

If it doesn't happen, then I was wrong :yeshrug:

No different than the shyt you and other people get wrong on this site all the time. Don't sit here and pretend like you haven't said shyt that didn't actually come to fruition.

Unless you're Mr. Smart Guy and is correct all the time :jbhmm:

I don’t care who gets #1 as long as it isn’t Cleveland, Minnesota or New Orleans. They’ve gotten 7 of the last 10 #1 picks, give us something new please :francis:

Well Minnesota keeps getting them because Kevin Garnett got traded away to the Celtics and New Orleans has good food so that’s why they got a #1 pick, did I get that right @thevoiceofthevoiceless :jbhmm:

Breh you’re already wrong :mjlol:

And it’s not about me being right, but there’s been these conspiracy theories about the NBA Draft for years and none of them ever make any sense. Y’all create these storylines for the draft to justify your own nonsense

Well I mean Minnesota is/was in the process of selling their team and the #1 pick could have improved the team and enticed buyers to put in a bid :yeshrug:

How am I wrong if the draft lottery hasn't even happened yet :russ:

You're literally just complaining just to complain. Also, don't sit here and pretend like there hasn't questionable shyt in the past pertaining to the league.

1. Orlando
2. Houston
3. Detroit
4. Toronto

That's actually not a bad top 4 as the top 3 could desperately use those picks in any order.

I would say that NO would be the team to jump into the top 5, but I don't think there's been a team outside the top 10 whose managed to jump that high in the lottery.

Your entire theory is wrong. I seriously hope you don’t think that the NBA rigs their own product and sends players to teams as compensation for having lost star players in the past. Let me break it down for you: Why do you think these teams are perennially in the lottery? Because in most cases they aren’t well run organizations. Why would the NBA then turn around and continue to reward those same poorly run franchises with #1 picks? Wouldn’t that be bad for the NBA to fix its own process for teams that have proven they can’t manage those assets properly?

Anytime I hear these conspiracy theories I just assume the people who believe them have a tin foil hat on, believe Tupac is alive and have seen aliens. If any of those describe you don’t take offense but that’s just how I envision anyone who believes the NBA would fix its own draft lottery

Each lotto team has a representative at the actual drawing of the lotto balls as well. When the Bulls got #1 in 08, the rep said he was in a room with no windows or phone unable to tell anyone what just happened.
