NBA logo moved to back of jerseys to make room for ads

It's not Silver's fault, brah. The wheels were in motion for this...for ALL the major US sports...a long time ago.

But why now!?!?!?! Why do they need these advertisements on the jerseys they have them enough during the game and commercials.

And it's funny how people hate on baseball, but tradition is a big part of it. And it grossed 8 billion last year. Silver is a chump. He needs to focus on making hte D League a real minor league, not this.

If you think it's not gonnaa happen in baseball also. MLB jerseys gonna have them too. Bet that. NBA is gonna be first and than football and baseball is gonna follow suit. I expect all major US sports teams to be rocking advertisements on their jerseys within the next 5 to 10 years.

which is ridiculous since the NBA is NOT hurting for money like the WNBA.

However, I'd gladly take some jersey advertisements if it meant, I'd have to watch less commercials during the actual broadcast.

when have you known any tv show/sport to give you less commercials over the years. it's always more commercials. even a 30 minute tv show is only 20-22 minutes due to all the advertising.

luckily, other than sports, we pretty much don't have to watch commercials. I watch most of my other shows by downloading them, or on demand and FF'ing or using netflix. these commercials are for the birds. however live sports are pretty much the only type of entertainment where we will put up with having to sit through ads.

my question is why do they need ads on jerseys. the NBA is full of ads already. they got ads on the floor. they got ads on the baskets, they got ads on the scorer's table.

if the add is the size of the finals logo on the jersey, we won't really even be able to see it in the first place, which makes it kinda retarded.
