The players should boycott, not sure how they can play for him. I am guessing the only reason NBA didn't get rid of him is due to legal stuff because this is just as bad as Sterling.
Not only that, but other players in the league have to protest along with them or it comes off as hypocritical considering that they were all vocal in helping force Kelly Loeffler to sell her WNBA team when her racist incident happened. You can't be vocal about that situation, but quiet on this one.

With that being said, those Steph comments were bad timing.

lol Silver is a clown
dude clearly should be forced to sell the team
Silver works on behalf of the owners, so he can't do shyt without their say so. He's going to take the fall and answering all the questions behind it, so they don't have to. I'm guessing we'll also see at some point stories leaked to the media where certain owners throw other ones under the bus to save face and dodge criticism.

It's almost impossible to force an owner to get out the paint.

Folks forget that Sterling ended up being ruled incompetent, and had his ownership transferred to his wife, who then sold to Ballmer. Sterling, himself, wasn't forced to sell. To force an owner out, it would need to go to a vote, and unless you're responsible for genocide, owners are not going to cut one another's throats. Plus, the monetary sphere that the NBA now exists in makes it even harder to put owners under the guillotine, there's simply too much at stake with investors.
