It's gonna be drilled into y'all heads until y'all stop acting like the sky is falling down on today's NBA, all because y'all are trying to speak the demise of the league into existence because YOU don't like it.

All the shyt you think has only existed during this era, existed in all the eras that have come before: discourse around ratings being down, bad basketball play, discourse around how the current era doesn't compare to the previous era(s). All these things aren't recent phenomena; all these things have been lurking in the shadows since the league's inception.

No matter how much crying and complaining y'all do about it, the league is gonna continue on its path without a care for your tears, as it has always done.


And here are some side notes for y'all who claimed the TV ratings are down because nobody wants to watch today's product:

I don’t really get into the NbA ratings debate but I will say that I barely watch the NBA unless it’s the playoffs. There are a bunch of other people who used to LOVE the NBA who feel the same way. There is a worthy discussion to be had on this topic

I feel you Brother. Entertainment is a form of escapism. More and more people escape a different way. 70’s and 80’s was mostly through TV. Now, we are drawn somewhere else.

At least the playoffs, you can force for a good few hours and know you will get the best effort.

yeah there's way too much competition for our eyes these days. I don't care about these regular season games. When I had Hawks season tickets in 2020 I was invested tho. Going to the game >>>>> watching on tv
