I actually don’t think so. He’s been really bad, even before AD went down

That may be true, but the roster construction and what he has had to work with this season isn't his fault. He wasn't the one that gave up assets and flexibility to get Westbrook. He wasn't the one who didn't match the Caruso deal or not trade THT before he got exposed.

We all know who it is and why they won't get any blame for it.

This could all be true. But the objective of any coach is to maximize the potential that the current roster has. This is a flawed roster obviously. But I don’t think anyone can make the argument that he’s getting the most out of it, or putting players in the best position to succeed. The defense is the biggest mishap as they’re scoring more than enough points.

this team isn’t supposed to be the #1 seed in the west, but it supposed to be better than hovering around .500 for most the season.

So when Vogel gets fired and the team still isn't any better than what they are now, then what?

The next person to take the fall will be Pelinka.
