I been saying for years. If they would let you pick a team in the 2000s, 2010s, 90s, 80s, 70s. 60s, 50s and play a full season (and playoffs) against the teams of those decades with the real rosters.
I would go back to buying the game.
But most likely knowing 2K they gonna short change and only let you play with a couple specific teams in an era and you can't play a full schedule and playoffs against teams in that era.
Create a 99 SG in the Kobe era and put him in the Blazers or Kings and create a 99 PG in that same era and put him on the Magic with Tmac NEED THIS!!!!!!!!!!!
Back in 2011-2013 I use to download the 90's, 2000's rosters that people use to make and pick a legend and do the creating a legend mode. I use to have MJ, Wilt busting teams ass.fukk I wish it was a mycareer 80’s-2000’s. You could still create a player but it would have been dope as hell to have a mycareer story for those time periods.
Imagine going to the nba in 1992 and staying for 20 years and playing against all those teams
I use to do that shyt all the time back when you could do that back in the old 2k's, it's a damn shame 2k quit having the creating a legend mode because that's all I use to play.

Create a legend was such an underrated mode fam smh..used to take random players and make them Goat. Another wish for 2k I wish they had the olympics in mycareer every 4 years.
