I got it downloaded and still ain’t play mainly because of y’all
If you're a MyTeam or Play Now Online type player, the game will be tough with what the past few posts have touched on but MyPlayer fukkery still fun if you got a squad to run with. The grind is wack but I'm still having fun on MyPlayer. But if I didnt have a group of people to run with, I wouldn't do the online experience solo

Shooting is very inconsistent to me. What's everyone shot release timing early or late and also what visual cues do y'all use to know when to release the shot button.

Early timing with the comet shot meter. I play online all day everyday so the most important thing to know is the speed of your shot changes based on how close the defender is. So if somebody is closing out on you release it before he would get there even if that isn't the normal release speed
This just reminded me of a painful experience
I bought NBA 2K20 in late March 2020 then it was free on PS Plus in April 2020
That still fukks with me till this day
They should have a system in place where if u already bought a game (digital) that ends up being free later, you get to choose another game of equal or lesser price instead
I use late timing…as for visual clues it depends on the shooter’s form and how quickly/slowly they release which is unique to each player which is something I give 2k props for…I took my time and learned when was the best release for each player on my team…it didn’t take long at all to get the hang of it but at some point 2k did a quiet update that completely fukked that rhythm up and for me it’s fukked up the game ever since…I was in the middle of my 4th season with the nets (myleague modern era)…I finally got sick of it and just deleted that particular save…I was forced to turn on the shot meter and realized that my shots were still bricking EVEN with a perfect release

I feel you on that one. Early on when the game first dropped I was draining shots left and right on late timing. Then that changed and I watched some YouTube videos and everyone was saying going early. I rocked early for a while with mixed results. Some days I was hitting everything and some days I would be completely off. Last two weeks I am at an all time low when it comes to shootings. So now I just may go to late release. I primarily play offline and in an offline league with my friends.
I see really good YouTubers like CT Hesi and Groovy Queeny, consistently hitting theirs 3, so idk what I am missing. I'm not trying to be a pro but I should be able to consistently hit my shots with everyone, especially when I am wide open
I don’t expect to hit every shot even when I’m wide open but I went from shooting 3s about 40% as a team to shooting them under 10% meanwhile the CPU was up to 50% and this happened without me changing a single setting…I turned on the shot meter but that didn’t help…bcuz I found myself still bricking 3s often even tho the release was visibly perfect smh…the last straw tho was when they had me missing point blank layups during a tight game while the CPU draining everything smh
