This shyt is clearly unfinished.
This is the first game that made me say, this shyt might have better gameplay than 2k1 and 2k3. 2k better not screw it up for the fukking dribble gawds and cheesers
The glitch is easy to fix. Just go to edit myplayer and back all the way to the first page with name, change your name and that solves the issue. There was a bug in the transport of the game from 2k20 demo and the real one. I had to do my facescan again

That doesn't work and wouldn't that make me start my player over?
Do this, play with one build in mycareer, go to skip everything, just straight into the season. Go to edit the myplayer, change your name and that should fix it for that build when you exit and play mycareer built.

Yea the disconnects are just weird and ransom. I really wish 2k would move away from this reliance on gaming the shot stick and more towards logic and tendencies. I don’t have time to learn everyone’s release perfectly since I like to play with multiple squads. It seems the penalty for not getting a near green this year is fukking insane. I could miss multiple wide open threes in a row with Klay or Buddy but some scrub who plays the Lakers all day can splash on me contested with Javale McGhee cause he knows his release point. It’s bullshyt. Also get rid of baseline cheese. It’s damn near impossible to stay in front of people and when you do it seems the ball handler warps pass you or some goofy animation occurs
