All of that.
I first noticed this when they included the digital versions of Shaq and Ernie on last year's game I think? Now while that Ernie dude been a broadcaster for decades, when you hear Shaq's delivery, it sounds like he's trying to read off of a paper, mumbling in a low voice sounding NOTHING like what he's capable of sounding normally when he's debating or talking smack on that show. I mean the guys obviously have a rapport if you've watched 'em on the show, but that segment before the game starts where they give a bit of insight...Shaq just sounds remedial as fukk like as if he wasn't allowed to just be himself. It's like someone wrote what they thought he should sound like and made him read it. Borderline shy dudes like Kawahi going to sound monotone regardless of how comfortable you try and make 'em feel, but damn never EVERY NBA player in this game sounds like they came in, read off a paper and bounced leaving hilariously bad performances all across the board.
This reminds me why I struggle to get through this mode in recent years.

'cause they cap your speed once you make your dude go above 6'9" and you've the reason why I played like one season and lost mad interest. From the horrid first year, to down the court lob dunks to the computer sliding defenders in lanes when you're clearly about to slash to the bucket....fukk this game and in a minute, fukk this series.

I adjusted to MyCareer. They basically just made it harder to carry a team, in MyCareer now you'll just have a few seasons where you're not meant to win.
If you keep tweaking your playstyle and learn your teammate's AI tendencies you can start getting W's

I adjusted to MyCareer. They basically just made it harder to carry a team, in MyCareer now you'll just have a few seasons where you're not meant to win.

Unfortunately I know my Teammate's AI tendencies but I'm unable to stop that shyt 'cause my speed/lateral quickness is straight up trash in this series with that 6'10" penalty they hit you with that severely limits your speed. Even though my Athleticism is maxed out and I got boosts on all my attributes, I'm still not quick enough on the draw to run towards an open opponent and guard/contest the shot like I could in the previous games.
I'm currently on the Rockets and I think we suffer greatly from not having a competent point guard (Patrick Beverly was trash for the most part, got traded for Patty Mills who has his moments but suffers and Ty Lawson been consistently booty) and James Harden isn't as reliable of a three point shooter as other stars. Couple that with Dwight Howards goofy ass not pulling his weight and Sam Dekker going cold at times, especially on layups and that's how we lose leads and struggle to even the score when down 10 or more.
I also think the jumpshot in this year's iteration is broken as fukk, 'cause try as I might, I cannot hit a consistent jumper and my rating is a few bars away from max, but then again I chose "Inside" Power forward which is supposed to be catered towards dunks/layups but simple hop layups have a tendency to get miffed and my midrange stats are in the low 60's, which takes away my ability to get open and hit an easy two and take over on offense when need be.
I'm gonna get traded to the Rockets, hopefully and see if playing with Kawahi, Aldridge and Parker help with the offense while I continue to be the beast on Defense leading the leads in Blocks and Rebounds, contesting each fukking shot like a champ. I refuse to go back down to medium difficulty since it's too easy and I loved the challenge Hard (Actually it's the second notch away from the hardest difficulty) brought, but realistically I might have to start calling manual plays or some shyt 'cause these dudes LOVE to move away from shooters and create opportunities for the other team to splash threes......That's why we got swept by Curry and Thompson realistically. I'm hoping is just the Rockets being lackluster on D that has me frustrated, but I dunno.
Also I think it's pretty retarded that when the season's over, you just wake up with everything shuffled, no input on your part (I think the 2k13 or 12 allowed you to atleast select free agents for consideration towards being signed by your squad), minimal reporting.
Somebody's gifting me this game in September..I swear.

The My Career for this series is such a shyt show....
2k needs to slap themselves with that terrible fukking voice acting. They make it so evident they don't give a fukk anymore
they just try hard with the gimmicks. And that fukking cell phone drama shyt was the corniest shyt in the history of cut scenes

They suckered me in with the create your own team and logo system. That was the only dope new feature they brought in in years. But if 2k17 the same with shyt with the wack ass attribute caps, not being able to customize our jumpshots (have yet to hear a reason why this was omitted for the 2nd time), and the practice shyt I didn't care for I'm good.
They make a game mode called My Career and they really expect you to play a full careers worth before the next game comes out. Nah I'm good, I'm getting tire of making my player and having to keep start over.
