I agree. I always thought using the right stick was more intuitive for dribbling than shooting. Hell, I NEVER liked the shot stick. But now that it's been so many years where I haven't played lie, imma have to learn how to work the right analog stick again for dribbling.

I use the shot stick plus I've gotten so used to using it with it being on the right. Oh well!!

:russ: Yay defense will finally be able to keep up with the dribble.

Don't know where you read that. All I read was more defensive options....they didn't actually say you could move laterally fast enough to keep up with the offense...which is the main problem.

nah, im specifically talking about the layup animation that starts with a spin move. its easily one of the longest animations in the game. you cant control your shot afterwards

i wish someone would do a fighting game type breakdown fo what triggers each animation for 2k

Just hit up the Training Camp mode in the game breh

all this shyt sounds good, and ill definitely enjoy it, but as it's been stated, it will be a contest of triggering animations. Could be worse though *looks at NBA Live :scusthov:*

I'm so glad they're adding Signature Skills like APF 2K8, saw this on Operation Sports:

Floor General - A player with this skill improves the teams offensive awareness and executes plays quicker
Brick Wall - A player with this skill lays the smack down during picks
Dead Eyes - A player with this skill isn't affected as much when shooting the J with a hand in his face
Lock Defender/Defensive Specialist - A player with this skill can get around "Brick Walls" with ease while also staying with their man off the dribble
Chase Down Block - A player with this skill is particularly skilled at catching up to block shots from behind
Corner Specialist - A player with this skill can down the corner three consistently
Alley Ooper - I saw this mentioned briefly in the Game Informer article. It didn't really elaborate on what it does exactly, but I'm assuming a player with this skill is a better finisher at receiving alley oops.
Spot Up Shooter (Possible) - I'm not sure if this is the same as Corner Specialist or its own skill. If it is its own skill, then I'm assuming a player with this skill is can knock down spot up jumpers consistently.

Supposed to be around 28 of them

Defense back! Defense back! Thats all a nikka screaming that defense back :lawd:

Maybe I can get back to my 2K11 level of dominance at this game. I took pride in my on-ball defense that year, but it was just impossible in 2K12.

:krswow: Right stick is gonna be for tricks like Live 10!
Back to shooting with the buttons (you can hold LT and still use shot stick too). Yeah Live 13 probably aint coming out if they addressed the major gameplay issues like they say and dont have a glitch/exploit outbreak with the trick stick or hop step button being back we may have the best basketball video game ever
