That makes two of us. I refuse to start my association without the second round picks being added. Ronnie's excuse really doesn't make sense to me. All 2nd round picks have guaranteed contracts if they are playing in the nba. The guys overseas are a different case but they haven't even signed an nba contract so they don't matter. How can Jeff Taylor and Quincy Miller not have guaranteed contracts yet? I remember last season I started my association before they updated the roster with 2nd rounds picks and I had to start my shyt all over again to add Charles Jenkins and Jeremy Tyler. Why do we have to wait until the season starts for them to say their contract is guaranteed? We should blow up Ronnie's twitter demanding the update.

You wanna come at me for coming to 2k's defense...but stupid post like this is the reason why...nowhere near the truth, if anything the sig skills might be a tad OVERpowered....the a deadeye and microwave skills makes James Harden immortal on this game, but let you tell it they have no affect...

I hate it for you guys. All in all, I'm enjoying this a lot more than 2K12. The rebounding and cherry picking must be fixed, though. I hate that they tampered with the collision detection, also. It played a lot better in that regard out of the box. I've been mostly playing offline. My boy has a friend that hooked me up with some dope sliders that, for the most part, give me great games vs the CPU. Online can be pretty annoying right now, but that's every year with these clowns. Everyone should realize that by now. Ironically enough, when guys are pointing out some of these potential issues in early vids and previews, dudes come in with torches foaming at the mouth and chastising them "whining" or nitpicking.

for those having trouble with defense, turn down the auto defense assitance from 50 to about 20, under controller settings
I was down on the heavily influenced Jay-Z presentation, but it didn't bother me much because I stream my own music anyway. My opinion changed tho when I seen Nas "The World is Yours" video intertwined with the gameplay. The gameplay video was in black & white just like "The World is Yours" vid and the ball took the form of the earth (the ball was the only thing colored in the video) and they showed nothing but my team's highlights.

I feel the same way. Playin offline is cool for the most part, but online is pretty much terrible to me. Basically no way to get a realistic game at all. Whats good with them sliders though?

I'm enjoying this game more than 2K12, but I still have some similar complaints as the rest of you.
The offensive rebounding, and rebounding in general, problem HAS to be addressed quickly. I'll be disgusted with 2KSports if they ignore it.
The defense CAN feel rewarding at times, but that's because you have to bust your ass for damn near the entire shot clock to stop a kid just doing isomotion moves. Although this doesn't necessarily happen a lot in real life, I wish they would set it up how it was in 2K11, and have the ball handler pick up his dribble if he's going nowhere with dribble moves for a long period of time. If I have an offensive player bodied up, with him going nowhere, just getting bumped side to side, have that fool pick up his dribble or penalize him when he tries to shoot or pass, he's gotta lose that energy. I do a fairly good job of sticking with my man, but it's annoying to see a guy get a successful shot off at the last moment.
And a huge part of the defensive problem is the unresponsiveness of your AI teammates. Anticipation is huge in this game, and you might have to switch to an offball defender if you sense your man getting beat soon since your teammates develop bricks for feet and sometimes won't even turn around to acknowledge a player going in for a layup. You have to do a lot of manual shyt since the CPU will fukk you.
