What do the Sixers do about Jonah Bolden? He wants to come over, they want him to play a year in Europe, I don't see how playing another year over there helps him as much as coming to the NBA now.

I also get why the Sixers would want him to stay, since Richaun Holmes is very similar.
I thought i read his NBA out was only after the first year?

There was a story about how his shooting numbers were inflated because of the type of ball they used at UCLA because they have more grip. Apparently his percentages dropped when he used Nike balls which are more in line with the Spalding the Nba uses -

Interesting. Fox was swiping his shyt every time he tried to shoot a jumper because of how broke his shyt is. Will be interesting to see how he does.

He wants to come over right now, his contract has an option to buy out right now if the Sixers want to bring him over early.
I think it'd be better for him to stay a year and develop with regular minutes.

If he was somewhere but Philly I'd say bring him over, but there's a deep front court ahead of him on the depth chart.

I guess he could bounce back and forth between the 6ers and the D/G league, but that seems like a waste of a year for a guy on a 2nd round deal

No it isn't. His jumper may look shyt but as long as he produces with it, it doesn't matter.
He doesn't produce with it, that's the issue. A guard who can't take jumpshots off the dribble is.... I think he made single digit otd jumpers at UCLA? Its almost unheard of.

He cannot jump/elevate with his form from UCLA. Say what you want about MKG, but at least his ugly shyt wasn't gathered from below his waste or released after a baby hop. Ball's J is too easy to defend, even though it "looks" better. He shoots like he doesn't know how to hold the ball....

I was looking forward to his NBA season at first but with LA having almost no shooters the floor is gonna shrink significantly and opposing defenses will be able to crowd and help much easier. Better, more seasoned PGs than Ball have struggled to adapt to that. He's going to have to do it while unfukking everything he's learned about shooting while also dominating the offense.

I'm not sure what the issue is. All I know is that gathering that low in a big boy league where you have to use every tool available to keep defenders off of you is a massive red flag.

I thought he'd have more help in LA.
