Summer League = Spring Training. You don't overreact when players look good. But at the same time looking bad in the summer league is not good either. I don't remember anyone who looked like a bum in SL ever being sh-t.

Exactly

I remember Dan Langhi winning the summer league MVP in the early 2000's.

There's literally nothing to take out of it other then if a highly touted rookie is struggling u should worry

What does Miami have? Celtics have deeper roster, better talent, better prospects, and way more picks.
and got blown out by like 60 against the only team that mattered

Miami is an up and coming team with an equally amazing coach and a front office that's proven time and time again that they can actually get shyt done in the offseason. Boston isn't winning next year so their ring pitch is a joke, they basically have to wait until LBJ is gone. By the time LBJ is gone.... Boston is just hoping that those assets will have turned into something. IT will be hitting that hump and Horford will be an even bigger liability than he already is.

Celtics trying to act like they're developing talent and win-now at the same time its NEVER worked in the NBA the way that they're doing it. Its just not a good look.

shyt, they went into this offseason looking at Fultz, Butler, PG, Hayward, and Griffin and now you're posting about Jamychal Green :wow:

KAT shot 39% and averaged 6 fouls a game during summer league. It's actually meaningless on both ends of the spectrum.

Neither can defend the 4 but Tatum is more suited for the position. Hayward won't have Gobert to cover for him in Boston.

Tatum will be a SG you idiot.

LOL @ you c00ns and cacs trying to make the game into a joke by getting rid of bigs.

Playing next to Brown, Tatum will be a SG and a damn great one.

Him and Wiggins will be battling for the crown of shooting GAWD post-Kobe.

I still can't believe there was some nikkas really thought Jayson Tatum was a tier below Jackson/Fultz/Ball :mjlol:

The Celtics young wing duo of Jaylen Brown/Tatum is legit.:ehh:

Yeah these nikkas looked real stupid thinking Tatum was a level below Josh Jackson of all people and that scrub Fultz.

Ball will actually be elite. But Tatum is the cream of the crop in this class.

So fellow Celtic fans, between Brown and Tatum, which one is Jordan and which is Pippen? For most of the game Brown looked like Mike out there, but the way Tatum took over the 4th and knocked down the game winner, I'm starting to question it a little more.

:pachaha:The future is bright.

Don't let this game fool you. Brown is nearly 2 years older than Tatum and not half as good right now. Tatum will blow him away in a year.

Brown can be a decent starting NBA SF. He doesn't have star potential.

Tatum on the other hand has Hall of Fame potential. He'll be the alpha of this team very soon and Brown will be the beta. Unlike Wiggins, I don't see the passiveness trait in Tatum.

Nah, you're selling Brown short. All he really needs is to tighten up his handle and he's a future star. Everything else is there. His shot was much better than advertised last season, he's pretty good at finishing around the rim, he gets to the foul line and rebounds really well for his position. Dude's got the physical tools and demeanor of an NBA all star too. His mediocre handle was crippling last year though, so dude needs to be working on that 24/7 this summer.

People saying the east is weak, yet we have all the young up and coming talent:ld:

I been saying the East will be the dominant conference by 2020. Other than for Wiggins, Towns, and Ball, all the elite young talent is in the East.

Embiid, Giannis, Simmons, Porzingis, Tatum, LaVine, and Maker are all in the East.

That's 7 of the 10 future superstars of the NBA being in the Eastern Conference.

Btw Fultz's pick and roll skill set is amazing right now, but Philly's been talking about taking him off the ball in favor of Simmons who might not be able to shoot.
