Boston is better than Miami tho so if Boston can't beat Cleveland with Hayward wtf a team built around Hayward, whiteside, and dragic gonna do?
Miami can actually still get a lot better.... after looking at this offseason, its not a stretch to say that Boston has peaked more or less. By the time Tatum is a legit piece, IT will be washed and looking for the next paycheck. Horford isn't getting better.
Hayward going to Boston is some win-now shyt and it doesn't make Boston better than Cleveland. 2-3 years down the line, other teams in the East will be retooled and ready to shoot at Boston and then Boston will be praying that those assets actually did something.
Miami is a damn good team to long-term invest with. And it'd be ENTIRELY different if Boston could've actually made something of this offseason.
Utah was just young. They're on path to be a top team if they can keep Hayward. Its gonna be tough for Hayward to leave Utah. That team and the offense is built around him. Wouldn't be mad if he left tho.. playing in Miami and getting out of the West is understandable.
They were young at one point, not really anymore. Its also not their problem. Their current playstyle really isn't the best for Hayward. They play slow as fukk - Hayward was one of the better transition players in the league. Favors not working out was a big deal too.
I don't think that Utah's issues are insurmountable, but that all-star money is huge. Playing out East where its not a scene from Jurassic Park is a big deal too.
