I think developers are mostly just scared of another cyberpunk situation since it damn near ruined CDPR, it’s why they keep putting emphasis on “when it’s ready”….they show it now, they’ll be under pressure to give a date a few months from now, then it’s the constant backlash from fans when you keep pushing it back, with the inevitable shyt show when it’s been too many pushbacks and they have to release it in a shytty state
