Cmon Meach, let’s not pretend the gaming industry as a whole isn’t lead by sequels and remakes. Most games we get hyped for here is either one or the other.
more context is needed for sure. But the thought of remaking that game, on the surface, is trash, but if it’s to bolster a tlou2 remaster packaged with factions then it sounds totally believable and right up Sony’s alley (and slight less trash But still trash).

Difference is, this gen there’s no studios that don’t already have a successful franchise.
All Sony studios are working on follow ups to last gen. As you can see in the story their not even allowed to think of new stuff.

Who cares if it’s a sequel or not tho really? I’m not sure why that’s looked down on so much, I’d love new interesting ip’s sure, but while we’re getting sequels that ARE great then I don’t see the problem
(notice I said sequels that are great btw, not Halo that hasn’t been good in forever or boring ass driving games)
