Referee should have stopped the fight by the way. You can see when a fighter doesn't want to quit but wants the referee to stop the fight. When asked if he wanted to continue, he didn't look eager to continue and was somewhat ambiguous in his actions. Ref should have stopped it, giving him the opportunity to save face and say it was called too early.

His corner should have thrown in the towel too. Hate seeing people take an unnecessary punch in the ring. Can be the difference between bruised ego, permanent headache, or death.

Kept telling him to put out his gloves and he didn't do it.

Hes average. If you asked people a month ago whether he would’ve knocked out Nate, we would’ve all said hell nah. Because the thought was inconceivable. Nate has been a PROFESSIONAL ATHLETE for almost two decades. Even if it’s a different sport, he should be on another level in terms of physical shape compared to someone who started amateur fighting 700 days ago. He could’ve trained and made up the difference to make it competitive at least but he didn’t.

Like whats been said, conditioning was not Nates problem

In fact, it should’ve been the least of his focus. Nate didn’t know how to even box basically. He should’ve mastered that then mastered being in the ring and getting hit by a netter muthafukka until he became disciplined enough to at least stay in a proper boxing stance, not be afraid to get hit, use some footwork and technique, etc.

Then I would’ve put more focus on conditioning. Dude couldn’t even keep his hands up after throwing a punch. Didn’t even have that...

Even snoop was saying he had to bring his shots back while Nate is lunging towards jake with his jab out and chin up.
