china just launched a small probe that simply landed on the moon and i think it went out of service rather quickly. NASA has already landed multiple teams of men on the moon decades ago. They are way ahead. And i don't think mining would have as big an effect on the moon as comets smashing into it. Im sure in the future the moon will get claimed just like earth, with the US holding the biggest chunk because they would be stupid to let that slip from their hands. They were walking on that shyt when people were still figuring out how to build their society.
