human nature is to explore...space exploration is our destiny and there is no escaping it.
you can argue that we have enough problems here on Earth and that we should tend to them first but that is always going to be the case.

i truly believe that what we find "out there" will unite us as one...i don't know what we will find, but i know that somewhere out there in the infinite expanse of the universe we will some day find something that will make us stop our madness and realize that we are all truly one.


true but the real thing to unite us will be an attack. Although finding life will up our exploration.

Too much needs to be done on THIS world before we go spreading our diseases elsewhere in the cosmos, so I'm ambivalent about this issue.

Few years ago, I'd have been all for it ASAP.

I can understand mars or another planet, as we already know its necessary we have alternative for our survival....but the fukking moon? really? :beli:
