After bumping this EP a few times, I gotta say, theres some things that really makes me believe its Esco, others not too much...

Things that yell Esco imo:
His melody on the intro track. Shoutouts to Henny.

The semi weak chorus' (which Nas is notorious for) to "Bad to the bone" and "You know what time it is". Sounds like something right down Esco's lane.

Calling himself the "drunken monk" on "U 47".
Whats odd about this track is that supposedly Droog is 24, yet his perspective on this track (on young and old rappers) is NOT of a 24 year old. "What you know about that younging? fukk outta here. They don't want to know so keep it on the low, there comes a time when you let that old funky persona go." Hes a part of that laptop younger generation, yet he distances himself from that crowd, almost as if hes teaching older rap dudes how they should behave. Really weird.
Also, the first 40 seconds of this track sounds like a REPLICA of what Nas spit on the first 40 seconds of "Trust". Coincidence...? Maybe.

What makes me doubtful is the fact that he would work with practically a no name producer...or is he part of this act too? That would be too much...he also takes a shot at Kanye on "Droogs Anthem", don't know if Esco would do that.

But i can definetely see why Nas would do this...he can have fun now, its like he can start over. Cause you damn well know a bunch of fools is going to compare ANYTHING Nas ever drops to Life is Good, Illmatic, etc, and never let the GOAT breathe. You already got some cornball haters in this thread DREADING the possibility of the Droog being the GOAT.

Regardless of who it is, i really don't care, salute to Droog for making this dope EP. Its been on repeatttt

I caught a serious case of deja vu writing this dumb shyt

Yes, if this is not Nas he is not only copying his voice, flow but he is also borrowing life experiences?! This EP references like a person who is not only a lot older but has attained some type of status in society or music. If he is copying Nas to that point that's just mind blowing. I just can't wrap my mind around that at the moment. My opinion is based on the music mostly, the counterfeit is as good as the original?! I just can't buy that.

On the video on the first page he says:
"gotta stay safe in the mansion dig,
especially when they come thru for your man's shin dig
that' s the after party, to the award show
it ain't just that Sony went big having you thinking it's rigged . . "

If this is not Nas then WTF is he talking about?!:mindblown:
