Im kind of annoyed at how wrecklessly people thought this was Nas and how some people are carrying on thinking it is him. For one, it creates this new unfair perception in people heads that whatever Nas puts out next wont be as good as this LP and will make themselves dissapointed (I'm still convinced the whole Nas and bad beat selection came from the God's Stepson LP creating that notion with every future album he put out after). And on the other side, its kind of unfair for this kid now to be compared to Nas in everything he does and some people might even dimiss him for simply NOT being Nas.

I mean twitter was a fukking mess yesterday after this story leaked out and it all happened because someone a few days ago said, "Yo this kid might be Nas" and even after it was debunked people were still not convinced.



I even had to look at some of my fellow Nas stans in the offical nas thread like .

Its a dope album, but I think the wish is ruining the gift of what this kid put and also kind of hurting Nas' perception at the same time.
